The Wales Home offers adults a safe and secure environment in which to convalesce after a hospital stay. The hospital social worker can contact the Wales Home to arrange for nursing care, physical or occupational therapy.
Respite Care:
The Wales Home offers care providers a place for thier loved one to stay while on vacation or in need of a break themselves. The services are the same as the services normally provided in a bachelorette, ambulatory or Long Term Care Units. Free cable and telephone are provided during their stay.

Please contact the Executive Director, Ms. Brendalee Piironen for pricing information at 819-826-3266 ext. 247 or bpiironen@waleshome.ca . A tax credit is available for residents age 70 or over. This credit is completed by the administration of the Wales Home upon admission.
Visitor Accommodations:
For family and firends coming from far and in need of a place to stay while they visit, bed and breakfast accommodations are available for a small fee. This allows more quality time withloved ones without having to leave the building.
