GENERAL VOLUNTEERING:
We cannot have too many volunteers! The request for volunteering is also from the Wales Home residents. Many of you are very capable of helping another resident. There are several volunteer roles that I can explore with you. For exmaple, we are searching for an early evening volunteer on Norton 1. Should someone be interested, please contact Carol Ann.
Yay! Volunteers are permitted to return to the Wales. If you would like to help, please contact me.

Should anyone have DVD movies they owuld like to share or donate to the Wales Home, please contact the Activity Department. Musicals would also be appreciated. Thank you for the ones we received; you can keep them coming! :)

They may be able to make adaptations which may in turn help you. :) We recently purchased two Talking Readers for residents with low vision. Talking Readers are little audio book players that Kim Bailey and Carol Ann will share with residents.

Reverand Wayne's presence at the Wales Home is part of a Ministry of the Richmond United Church for a period of one year. Should you or someone you know benefit from or require Reverand Wayne's ministry, please let him know. He will be having lunch in the Main Dining Room on Wednesdays with the residents.
