CONNECTIONS GLENDON PROJECT:
Since the pandemic began, social interactions have unfortunately been limited, and various people have felt isolated. Int he hopes of bringing people together, York University's Glendon campus recently launched the Project: Connections Glendon which pairs our students with community members. As a bilingual campus, these connections also help our students enhance their learning of Canada's official languages by practicing their English or French through videoconference calls. These visits are great a opportunity to bridge generational gaps and forge meaningful relationships by learning about each other's cultures and life experiences. These discussions will be held via Zoom and will ideally last thirty to sixty minutes and occur on a regular basis.
