ACCREDITATION:
We were informed by the CQA that they have filed for bankruptcy. This news is not good for the CHSLD Wales as our file is now in limbo. We communicated with the Government several times with no concrete follow up. We have a meeting scheduled with Agrément Canada this month to discuss our next step as Accrediation is a legal requirement for our CHSLD permit. Erica saved 274 pages from our portal in hopes that the Government will give the CQA the $50,000.00 needed to finalize our Accreditation. We have achieved three Accreditations but the CQA and Agrément Canada are two different companies; we will keep you posted.
SECURITY:
Recently, I was leaving work and almost had an accident. As I was backing out of my parking spot, I heard a man yelling for me to stop. The resident was in my blind spot and I did not see him. If his son had not yelled for me to halt, I would have hit the resident with my car. Please be very careful as we will havemore residents outside due to warmer weather and loosened COVID-19 restrictions.
FATHER'S DAY:
I would like to wishou fathers and future fathers a Happy Father's Day. Thank you for being role models for our future leaders!
