Greetings and happy August! Wow, I know; where has July gone? I hope the summer is going well for you and that you can get out and enjoy this beautiful weather.
There are some wonderful changes for residents that are more than welcome, two of which are that masks are no longer required and CHSLD and RPA residents can mingle, meaning some activities will now be open to any resident. Should an activity not be universal, a note will be added to the Chatter. For example, the zootherapy session on August 26th in the Main Living Room is reserved for RPA residents as CHSLD residents experienced this activity on June 24th and will again in September.
With residents being able to attend various activities, I need CHSLD residents to be ready and seated by the elevator to assist them to the activities off their units. On that note, thank you! :)
I will be on vacation the weeks of August 8th and 15th and Marie-Christine will be on vacation the weeks of August 22nd and 29th. Noémi's summer employment ends this month. She has been awesome for our Department. I will miss her so much, but I am very excited for her future educational endeavours. I wish you wonderful things in the future, Noémi - you go, girl! :)
