Administrative Assistant -Class 1 Human Resources - TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT

SALARY: $26.54 TO $32.47 PER HOUR 

Job description

**This is a temporary replacement of two (2) days per week. The replacement will come to an end when the full-time position holder resumes full-time.

The HR Assistant supports their team by providing administrative and secretarial services. They perform a variety of clerical tasks, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents; organizing meetings and taking minutes; managing mail and records; and maintaining filing systems. They are responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of administrative processes and office operations. Specific tasks include:

  • Validating invoices from agencies
  • Overseeing probation and annual performance appraisals
  • Follow-ups on documents required for employee files
  • Coordination of ERC and OHS committees (sending reminders and preparing documents)
  • Administrative support to the maintenance team

Wanted profile

  • DEP or AEC in secretarial or office management OR DEC in office management OR academic training combined with relevant experience
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
