Administrative Assistant -Class 1 Human Resources - TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT
SALARY: $26.54 TO $32.47 PER HOUR
Job description
**This is a temporary replacement of two (2) days per week. The replacement will come to an end when the full-time position holder resumes full-time.
The HR Assistant supports their team by providing administrative and secretarial services. They perform a variety of clerical tasks, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents; organizing meetings and taking minutes; managing mail and records; and maintaining filing systems. They are responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of administrative processes and office operations. Specific tasks include:
- Validating invoices from agencies
- Overseeing probation and annual performance appraisals
- Follow-ups on documents required for employee files
- Coordination of ERC and OHS committees (sending reminders and preparing documents)
- Administrative support to the maintenance team
Wanted profile
- DEP or AEC in secretarial or office management OR DEC in office management OR academic training combined with relevant experience
- Computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
