“Phyllis Pratt fell and broke her hip in October 2009. Unable to return to her home in Waterville, we made an apartment for her in our home, where she lived for eight years. After a few more falls at the age of ninety-five, she informed us that she was ready to move to the Wales Home. Her aging grandmother was a resident over fifty years ago, and Phyllis can remember the kindness she was given. Phyllis has been a resident since November 2017 and now, at the tender age of ninety-seven, her favourite activity is the Friday afternoon tea parties. The Wales Home staff provides exceptional loving care to residents and their families.”
